Dr. ALIX NASSIRI

Prior to launching THE ALIX Gallery, Dr Alix Nassiri maintained an appreciation for the cathartic and healing power of art as a well-known physician in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, who has long provided care to those in the public eye and creative arts. He is equally an art enthusiast, collector and proponent of advancing the culture of art and its larger implications. 

For the past several years, he has transformed THE ALIX Gallery from a small, creative boutique gallery serving the art scene of Palm Springs, to one of Southern California’s premier and formidable galleries showcasing works by museums-level artists, as well vibrant emergent talent that have caught national attention.

With the move to their new prominent location to the Uptown Design District on North Palm Canyon, THE ALIX Gallery is situated in a newly renovated 4,000 square foot showroom and 3,000 square foot sculpture garden.  Following a one-year meticulous renovation, Dr. Nassiri decided to transform the new gallery into a portal that would evoke a simultaneous dark and illustrious mood and vibration, and transport clients to the peak avant-garde era of Paris and New York’s art, culture and fashion scene.  A nod to the sophistication of the past, set amongst modern works by contemporary artists, in the comfort and sunshine of the iconic resort town of Palm Springs.  THE ALIX is an intersectional space designed to not just showcase art, sculpture and archival pieces but to challenge the viewer to reflect on the cross point of past, present and future.

This philosophy of intersection and introspection has been a consistent theme of Dr. Nassiri’s work for years and made him the most innovative and sought after physician in Los Angeles by individuals in the public eye, who sought to navigate the complexities of their minds and their lives, and move past their creative blocks and expand their visual and auditory realms through his intensive neuro-psycho-social dynamic regimen. 

Dr Nassiri was also the first physician in Southern California to institute IV Ketamine Infusion treatment and psychedelic psycho-therapy for patients that were suffering with severe and refractory mental health issues, allowing him to dive into the deepest corners of the brain and help individuals form a cohesive and healing narrative of their lives. 

The healing and visual arts may be set in and operate in different settings, but the underlying tensions, dynamism and narratives that inform the human experience remain strikingly similar.  This theme remains consistent with Dr. Nassiri’s work and vision, and it is what has made THE ALIX Gallery not just a venue to show-case renowned and emergent art, but an experience for the senses.
